What do I have to do to accept Zip?

All you need to do is submit our enquiry form here and one of our Partnership Managers will be in touch within 48 hours with more information. We have some basic Terms for you to review and accept, and then depending on exactly what Platform you are using you could be up and running to accept Zip as soon as within 72 hours.

Can I use Zip in my physical store or just online?

You can accept Zip both online through our eCommerce integration, or in a physical store using our Zip In-Store Terminal. You can accept both, or just one! To inquire about Zip, complete our application form on our Merchant Section.

What eCommerce platforms does Zip support?

We have existing “plug and play” integrations with many leading eCommerce platforms including Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Kudos and many others. You can find a list of supported eCommerce platforms here.

What POS platforms does Zip support?

We have existing “plug and play” integrations with many leading POS platforms including Vend, Kudos, AdvanceRetail, SOE and more coming. You can find a list of supported POS platforms here.

What are the costs to accept Zip?

There are no up-front fees or charges to start accepting Zip, we simply charge a Merchant Fee on all successful transactions similar to what happens with accepting credit cards. Once you have contacted us through our application form, one of our Partnership Managers will be in touch.

When do I get paid?

You will get the full purchase amount less our agreed Merchant Fee paid into your allocated bank account the business day following the purchase.

What happens if a customer doesn't cover their future instalments?

Part of the Zip service is that as part of your Merchant Fee we take all credit risk so you will always be paid the full purchase amount less our agreed fee the following business day. If a customer misses an instalment in the future, this is 100% on us to recover from them, but in the vast majority of cases, our customers pay their instalments on time.

Are there any other transaction fees charged to accept Zip?

Generally not. The only exception to this may be if you are using a low-cost Shopify account which charges additional fees on all payment providers. We have no control over these fees.

Do I have to commit to a fixed term to accept Zip?

No. We have no fixed term commitment as we 100% believe in our product and we’re confident that once you start accepting Zip, you will want to stay working with us without needing a contract. If you ever feel Zip isn’t working for you, you can remove the integration at any time.
